The amaran F22x is a 2’x2’ ultra-lightweight flexible LED mat that offers outstanding light output and color rendering for indie filmmakers, videographers, content creators, and photographers who need a versatile and flexible lighting solution.
2X2 FORM FACTOR
As an ultra-light, ultra-thin fabric light, the F22x is compatible with a wide variety of use cases and excels in on-the-go travel and tight spaces. And as a simple, soft light that can fold compactly, it is the perfect close-up key light. Its traditional 2’x2’ square form factor allows the F22x to provide ample surface area for an innately soft light, while still producing enough intensity to impact the scene.
OUTSTANDING LIGHT OUTPUT
With 200W of output power, the ultra-lightweight bi-color flexible panel produces unmatched strength, outputting 6,960+ lux at 1 meter. You can also tune the F22x’s high-output bi-color chipset over its wide CCT range from 2,500K to 7,500K to match a variety of white light environments, coupled with stepless dimming from 0 to 100%, frequency selection for tuning out flicker, and 9 built-in lighting FX.
ALL-NEW X BRACKET
The F22x now features a new and improved X Bracket that provides enhanced rigidity and security for your light mat. The X Bracket’s support tubes each have a 2-stage spring-loaded design, ensuring that the light mat is stretched taut and the bracket always stays attached. It is easy to set up and packs compactly, while also featuring an integrated knurled baby pin for easy mounting.
POWER SOLUTIONS
For creators looking for a compact and portable lighting solution with a seamless user experience, the F22x control box features a multi-voltage V-Mount or Gold-Mount battery plate compatible with 14.4V/26V/28.8V/48V batteries. Full output can also be achieved using the AC power supply.
SOFT DIFFUSION
To add a beautifully controlled soft light to your scene, attach the included softbox, one of two strengths of diffusion cloths, or the included light control grid using the integrated hook-and-loop fabric to further finesse your lighting design. The F22x can also be combined with the amaran F22 Lantern with light control skirt to extend the fixture as a volumetric lantern or pancake light.
SIDUS LINK APP
For content creators who prefer wireless controls to spend more time behind or in front of the camera, the Sidus Link app will allow you to utilize tools unique to the Aputure and amaran ecosystems to control the F22x. With the Source Match, Color Picker, Gel Control and Custom FX functions all in the palm of your hand, choosing the perfect color for the scene has never been easier.
PROFESSIONAL CONTROLS
In addition to controlling your lighting design from Sidus Link, the F22x can be controlled externally via wired DMX with the USB-C to 5-Pin DMX512 In & Out Adapter*, adding professional-level control to your favorite flexible light mat.
